Fundamentals of the Department of Audiology have been taken depending on the master programme of Audiology in Faculty of Postgraduate Education Hacettepe University in 1968. Since 1989 the master programme of Audiology had revised and has continued its education programs as “Audiology and Speech Disorders”. Department of Audiology and Audiology Programme established in May 11th 2011 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences and undergraduate education has started in Fall semester in 2012-2013. In April 18th 2013 Language and Speech Therapy was established and undergraduate education has started in fall semester in 2013-2014. 

Our department has 4-year Bachelor's degree in full time. Education language is Turkish. All of the courses have been implented as a theoretical and practical. Our students have responsibilities to do field work and internships in institutions, and include preparing reports, seminars, research projects and making oral presentations. Our department graduates take the title of “Audiologist”.
